Abstract

This paper explores the significant potential of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to optimize SAP Variant Configuration (VC) within Supply Chain Management (SCM). By automating repetitive tasks such as data entry, rule-based decision-making, and configuration adjustments, AI and RPA streamline complex product configuration processes, reduce manual efforts, and enhance overall efficiency in managing customized products. The incorporation of AI-driven predictive analytics further enables more accurate demand forecasting, optimized inventory management, and personalized customer solutions. Through case studies and practical applications, the study highlights the benefits of AI-RPA integration, including increased scalability, reduced lead times, and greater flexibility in handling product variations within modern supply chains.
