Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) systems have developed rapidly in recent years, from simple content creation tools to complex autonomous systems that can make decisions on their own. These developments have sparked discussions about whether artificial intelligence systems can function as autonomous agents—entities that can make autonomous decisions and profoundly impact human society. This paper explores the ethical, legal, and practical implications of productive artificial intelligence as a sovereign agency and highlights issues of accountability, transparency, justice, and human autonomy. It also examines how existing legal frameworks are needed to implement AI-driven decision-making and highlights the practical challenges involved in managing and managing AI systems. By exploring these concepts, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the possibilities and risks of using artificial intelligence as an independent agent, in order to promote the development of responsible artificial intelligence and society.
